  • This covers relevant information on what to do and what not to do to ensure you follow the principles of academic integrity. In addition, you will learn the way to properly reference and how to use artificial intelligence tools appropriately if they are relevant to you in your course.

You can find the contact details for your teachers at the bottom of the course and unit overview pages on the TAFE NSW Digital Campus. You can text chat, phone or email your teachers to get further assistance.

You can find your course end date on both your home dashboard and the course overview page. We recommend you set time aside every week to study so you stay on track.

Talk to your teacher if you are having trouble staying on track.

You can click on the results tab on the Course page to see if your assessment has been marked.

You should also receive an email to your studytafe email address when your assessment has been reviewed.

We understand that you are eager to know how you’re progressing in your course and that’s why we aim to have assessment feedback back to you within seven (7) business days.

If your study plans change, contact the teaching section as soon as possible.

  • If you don't want to study the course anymore, they will help you to Withdraw
  • If you do want to keep studying, but need to take a break, ask if you can apply for a Deferral
  • If you need more time to complete the course, ask about an Extension.

Eligibility criteria apply for Deferrals and Extensions and are assessed by the Head Teacher.

The teaching section can refer you to TAFE Support Services, if you need extra help in your course, or guidance with study pathways.

You are allowed two attempts on each assessment event with the exception of the auto marked quiz where multiple attempts are permitted. If you haven’t achieved a satisfactory result on the first attempt, read your teacher’s feedback carefully before having a second attempt. If you are unsure of what to do, contact your teacher.

If you are unsuccessful on your second attempt, you can pay an assessment resit fee for a third attempt however, you will have to speak to your teacher to apply. The fee can be waived in special circumstances.

Remember to include everything on the assessment checklist in your video. If you leave anything out, you will be asked to resubmit the assessment.

If you are still unable to upload, check your connection and/or visit your TAFE NSW campus.

Yes. You will need to complete your course before your enrolment end date. It is also a requirement that you regularly participate in your learning and assessments. Participating means:

  • Accessing and engaging with course resources and learning activities, via the TAFE NSW Digital Campus (TDC) and any other platforms as required for your course.
  • Where applicable, attending live webinars, practical sessions, work placement, exams, tests and classes.
  • Contacting your teachers for support to complete your learning and/or assessments.
  • Submitting and completing assessments.
  • Applying for Recognition of Prior Learning (where appropriate).

As part of our commitment to supporting you on your study journey, we will regularly monitor your course progress. If you are not consistently participating in your studies and we are unable to get in touch with you, you may be withdrawn from your course.

If you are having difficulties making progress in your course or are unable to attend classes due to illness or other reasons, please contact your teaching section for assistance.
